back to life
we had a gorgeous weekend here in so cal. the weather was delightful and we had 2 of our men come home to us! just thought this one was funny.. it's so papparazzi.. her carrying her gear- trying to stay away from the lens.
with elsie (and many toddlers, i'm sure) there is always a period of reacquainting that needs to take place before full on cuddles are given. uncle's been away at college...
but there were great cheers and a little welcome dance/trot when we picked up daddy at the airport :)
we've had some late nights at the baseball field. it's been exciting and COLD. the weather is rather batty right now.
someone asked me how i get pictures of elsie.. i'd like to say that most of the time she's camera ready. :) this one above is a prime example of bribery. 'snack stand? smile please.' :) but sometimes, as many bribes as i offer, she will not budge. i get this.
me: 'please elsie? turn around, real quick.' e: 'no. i'm drawing.'
ok fine. i actually like the way this looks anyways :)

LOL! Glad to see that Miss E works the same way mine do!! Thanks for answering my quessie!

Elsie is so sweet.
Love how you take those pictures of her.

Great photos as always, Jaime! Sometimes those ones from behind really tell a good story. I got a great shot of my younger son writing a story...photo taken from behind so you can see his hand and his handwriting! Can't wait to scrap that one!
My question would be: how many photos do you take to get the "perfect" shot? You always seem to have such great shots of your kiddos. Sure wish mine were as cooperative! Hahaha :)

LOVE all of these!
and i agree about the one of her drawing! love IT!
many times i will tell my kids to stop what they are doing and look at me, but then i always love the ones of them doing their own thing better than when i made them look at me!!! so fuNNY!
oh and by the way, i think your photos just keep getting even better and better, if it's possible!

I love the pictures you get of all your kids. It's nice to know that I am not the only one who is not always able to get pictures of my little one.

It's a question I've often thought when I see your gorgeous photos. What lens do you use to get - it always looks awesome!
